Consilio/LOD ELS Talent Solutions is seeking DC, NY, CA and MA barred attorneys with recent experience arguing motions in the courtroom and drafting motions, working with case teams on lifecycle of a case, start to hearing, experience to work for our client, a large global law firm.
Mostly Remote but must live within 50 miles of chosen office in either DC, NYC, Boston, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles.
Salary range $150K-$175K/year plus benefits, bonus eligible, depending on experience and other factors
Candidates must be currently barred in the jurisdiction where their chosen firm office is located in. Therefore, if you want to work in the:
DC office, you must be barred in DC
Boston office, you must be barred in MA
Palo Alto, San Francisco or Los Angeles offices, you must be barred in CA
New York office you must be barred in NY
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal teams on case-specific eDiscovery to ensure processes are implemented
- Facilitate communication between the Staff Attorney department and associates and partners
- Work with litigation support group and eDiscovery vendors to support document preservation, collection, and processing efforts;
- Assist in preparation of privilege logs, other similar tasks
Qualifications
- recent courtroom experience, experience drafting motions, working with case teams on lifecycle of a case, from start to hearing
- eDiscovery experience
- Current good standing in DC, NY, MA, or CA Bar.
- Litigation experience, including responsibilities associated with discovery.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills related to project coordination.
- Strong working knowledge of discovery document review projects and typical work-flows.
- Significant experience with on-line document review systems such as Relativity
- Significant experience with Excel.
